Common questions
How do I log a session?
Tap the timer on the home screen, choose your activity type, start the timer, and save when you're done. You can also log sessions manually by tapping the + button and entering the details directly.
What is ChillCommit Pro?
Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks advanced statistics (trends, heatmap, personal records), unlimited friends and challenges, nearby event notifications, and more. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store or Google Play.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the platform you purchased on. On iPhone, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions. I'm not able to process cancellations or refunds directly.
Why isn't my home location saving?
Go to Settings inside the app and tap the Home Location card. Tap the map to drop a pin, confirm the name, and press "Set Location". Your home location is used for Nearby Events sorting and water temperature distances.
Why am I not receiving push notifications?
Make sure push notifications are enabled in the app (Settings → Notifications) and that the app has permission in your device's system settings. Each notification type (messages, friend requests, etc.) has its own toggle inside the app.
Can I use the app without an account?
Yes — guest mode lets you track sessions locally on your device. Just keep in mind that guest data is not backed up to the cloud, so it may be lost if you uninstall the app. Social features like events, challenges, and friends require a registered account.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion from the data deletion page or through the app (Settings → Support → Contact). All your data is removed within 30 days.
The app crashed or something looks broken
I'm sorry about that. Send me an email with a short description of what happened and what device / OS version you're on — I'll look into it as quickly as I can.
